4th International Conference on Education and Distance Learning

4th ISEDL organized by National E- Learning Resource Center of University of Kelaniya based on the grants provided by Global Academic Research Institute (GARI) was held on 18th of May 2018 at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

More than 40 research papers on the following titles were presented at the Symposium; Pharmacology, Health and Medicine, Medical Science, Language, Psychology and Teacher Education, Education and E- Learning, Engineering and Technology, Digital Marketing, Language and E-Learning.

The event was presided over by Prof. D. M. Semasinghe, Vice- Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya as the Chief Guest and the keynote address was delivered by (Mrs.) Seetha Sagara, Motivational Speaker, Councellor and Personality Development Coach of United Arab Emirates, Dr, Mathi Kandiah, Vice President of Colombo Branch of Business Management School, Dr. Chandana Kasthuriarachchi , Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Education of the University of Colombo also conducted two special lectures. Many researchers representing USA, UK, China, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Pakistan, Turkey and India presented their Research Papers at the Conference.

The event was graced by Senior Lecturer Dr. Gamini Wijerathne, Dean of Faculty of Computing and Technology, Senior Lecturer Dr. Namalee Suraweera, Director of National E- Learning Resource Center, Dr. Kausalya Yatigammana, Deputy Director of National E- Learning Resource Center and staff members.
